About
Lee Chitty
Lee is an Ontario lawyer, entrepreneur, and wine lover. He was inspired to start Cases & Cases out of a desire to make his passion for wine a central part of his legal career. As soon as Lee finished his legal studies, he commenced his lifelong education in the world of wine. Having completed a 200+ hour wine appreciation certificate, and both the WSET 2 programs in wine and spirits, Lee is well on his way to becoming a certified sommelier.
Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019, Lee’s legal practice has touched corporate law, commercial law, employment law, and litigation. He is a board member of the Canadian Chapter of the Association Internationale des Juristes du Droit de la Vigne et du Vin (AIDV) / International Wine Law Association.
Wine professionals choose Lee as their preferred partner because he doesn’t just know the law, he shares a love for the craft. This shared passion creates stronger solicitor-client relationships, improves his understanding of his clients’ needs, and allows Lee to deliver specialized services not available elsewhere.
